Today, 11th of October, key representatives from Quest Apartment Hotels as well as Dahlsens, BFN Developments, (BFN is also the Builder), and Fenton Design Group architects gathered at the site for an update on this milestone development.

David Mansfield is the managing director of The Ascott Limited Australasia, which will manage the property in the future. He said: “We are thrilled to mark yet another milestone in Quest Apartment Hotels ongoing growth. Construction of Quest Bairnsdale has now begun. Quest is thrilled to be supporting the Gippsland Region’s growth through its exceptional hospitality offerings.

A destination that is becoming increasingly popular

Tourism Research Australia statistics show that East Gippsland welcomed 1.71 million visitors in the past year. This is the highest ever recorded figure.

Quest Bairnsdale is a luxury hotel that will contribute to the local economy and set a new standard in terms of comfort and luxury.

Mansfield stated:

“We’re excited about the possibilities it brings for both our guests and the community.”

Our goal remains to achieve significant growth targets under the ‘2030 growth strategy,’ aiming to reach over 200 Quest properties and 30 managed hotels by the end of the decade.

There is plenty of space for the growing number travellers

Quest Bairnsdale, a three-storey 60-room building will be comprised of 30 studios, 48 one-bedroom units and six units with two bedrooms.

As of the time of publication, work had progressed quickly and covered the third level of the structure.

This latest project will add much needed accommodation to the picturesque East Gippsland area. It is a testament of Quest’s commitment to provide top-tier accommodation throughout Australia.
