Adani Airports Holdings Ltd. (AAHL), a sub-sidiary of Adani Enterprises has announced the launch ‘aviio’, a new digital platform that is designed to transform airport operations while improving the passenger experience. Aviio, India’s first total airport management system, is designed to create seamless airport journeys through data-driven coordination between airport stakeholders.

By providing airport stakeholders access to real-time information, passengers can expect to have a more convenient way to access airport information, including updates on security checks, wait time, gate changes and bags on belt.

The aviio platform provides real-time information to stakeholders including airlines, retail staff, CISF personnel and ground handlers. Passengers will receive the most up-to date information regarding security checks, gate adjustments, baggage handling and more. This platform for B2B service has been conceptualised to meet AAHL’s unique need to manage large airports.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation granted an operating license to Rewa Airport, Madhya Pradesh. It will improve economic and regional connections. This new airport is expected to improve access and accessibility to historical and cultural sites, as well as boost trade, employment and tourism within the Vindhya area. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav emphasized its importance for regional development.

Arun Bansal is the CEO of AAHL. He said,

“Aviio was designed to transform stakeholder cooperation, ensuring real time resource management and improved planning across our airports.”

The platform’s impact will be felt by passengers, who will enjoy a smoother and faster airport transit. The platform, as part of AAHL’s broader efforts to digitally transform, integrates advanced technological advances like AI and IoT. Robotics are also integrated. This investment positions AAHL in a leadership position for next-generation airport operations, aiming to create a future-ready smart airport ecosystem. Aviio marks a significant milestone in AAHL’s journey towards enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Plans are in place for multi-airport governance.
