Manohar International Airport announced the launch on Friday of GOX Pass. The program is an exclusive passenger privilege designed to enhance tourism in Goa. GOX Pass, India’s first passenger-privilege program, was developed and launched by a Goa airport to cater to passengers flying into Goa via domestic carriers, international carriers, and charters.

The statement continued, “This innovative initiative offers discounts of up 50% on a variety of leisure, dining, shopping and wellness experiences in Goa.” The airport is operated GMR Goa International Airport Ltd. (GGIAL), a sub-company of GMR Airports Ltd. (GAL). GOX Pass offers exclusive discounts at over 34 prestigious partners outlets in the state.

Yuva Tourism Clubs is an initiative that engages students with responsible tourism throughout the entire year. It helps them develop leadership and a deep understanding about environmental conservation and cultural protection. The clubs, working in partnership with Goa’s schools and colleges, are an important part of the tourism strategy. They foster a new generation eco-conscious advocates.

The spokesperson stated that passengers can take advantage of these exclusive discounts if they present their GOX Boarding Pass with a photo identification at participating venues. GOX Passes are valid until December 30th, 2024. They encourage travellers to discover Goa’s rich culture and diverse attractions.

“By promoting travel and providing unique benefits to passengers, GOX Pass elevates travel experience but also supports local economy and encourages repeated visits to Goa,” GGIAL chief executive officer R V Sheshan explained.
