No.2 – FRANCISCO DE SA CARNIERO AIRPORT PORTO

Francisco de Sa Carniero Airport (second best) has a 4.4 rating on Google. Porto’s airport was just a few points behind the top, ranking second. The study shows that it has a Google rating of 4.4, based on over 26,000 reviews.

Reviewer “Waner Tavares” said: “Porto Airport impresses me with its friendly staff, quick security and clean environment.”

Istanbul Airport (first overall in terms of size) is a colossal airport and it is ‘exceptionally clean’ and well maintained.

Javier Ruiz is a Google reviewer who said: “The security is slow, chaotic, and slow when you leave and arrive.”

Manchester Airport denies that the 27,000 Google reviews can be used to draw any solid conclusions.

Google Reviews shows that a user named ‘Alice Fimpel” wrote: “My experience at this airport was appalling. The queue to check-in luggage was over one hour long and another hour after security.

No.1 HERAKLION AIRPORT, CRETE, GREECE

According to a visitor, Heraklion Airport was the worst airport in Crete. It was ‘lacking’ in cleanliness. The study found that Heraklion Airport, in Crete, was the worst airport of Europe. The study rated the airport with a Google rating of 2.6 based on 21,000 reviews.
